Cal State LA Athletics

2022-23: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 28 games with 23 starts. Was second on the team with 818 minutes. Averaged 11.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Led the team in assists with 69 and was fifth in scoring. Made his Cal State LA debut and had eight points, five rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes against Biola (11-11-22). Scored a season-high 18 points and had a season-high nine rebounds against Concordia (11-12-22). Had 17 points and a season-high seven assists in an 82-65 win against Cal State Monterey Bay (12-8-23). Hit all five field-goal attempts, all three 3-point attempts and all four free throws in the victory. Reached double figures in scoring 17 times and had 15 or more points nine times.

At University of Denver: Appeared in 29 games with 12 starts in 2021-22. Averaged 3.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. Shot 43 percent from the field.

At Rice: Appeared in 88 games in three years with the program. Averaged 5.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in his final year with the Owls. Was the Rice Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2021.

At Santa Monica HS: Averaged 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals and helped Santa Monica to a 10-0 mark in league play. Earned first-team All-Ocean League and second-team All-Gold Coast League honors. Also attended Winward High School and helped the team win a CIF Division 5 championship.

Personal: Son of Eric and Kim Moore. Graduated with a degree in sociology and is pursuing a Master’s degree at Cal State LA. Enjoys chess and cooking. Lists winning a 2015 CIF championship at Windward High School as his most exciting experience in sports.
